SVS relies on the multiple intelligence theory to impart knowledge and skills in an effective way that makes every student academically capable. Keeping the contemporary global and national context in mind, we, at SVS strive to make the pursuit of excellence a way of life; a habit. Important areas like the Emotional and the Spiritual well being of the children that were taken care of at home, have now come under the direct purview of the school besides the usual traditional ones. The focus is turned towards value education, soft skills development, leadership training, the art of self governance, crisis management and so on.

At SVS we consider teaching to be a noble vocation, a calling from the heart, soul and mind, moving far beyond a mere profession or career. The two key words which underpin every aspect of the teaching-learning experience in SVS are commitment and accountability. A school may be a collective noun, but we treat every pupil in it as a different individual. By making them independent in choices they make, we inspire responsibility. We are confident that the programmes for enhancement of teaching methodologies of the teachers, enrichment of the minds of students through activities and a meaningful partnership with parents will take us to greater heights.
